Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Sense Console ("the service"). The service is provided by Salvigo Limited ("we", "us"), trading as Sense Console, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 07854552) with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Business customers only

1.1 Sense Console is provided only to businesses, including sole traders, acting in the course of their trade, business or profession. It is not available to consumers.

1.2 By creating an account or starting a paid subscription, you confirm that you are using Sense Console for business purposes and, where you act on behalf of an organisation, that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Free plan

2.1 Sense Console offers a Free plan. It currently includes 1 Google Search Console site, 25 tracked keywords and 10 opportunities, as described on our pricing page. No payment details are required to use it.

2.2 The Free plan has no end date and never converts into a paid subscription. You will only be charged if you choose to start a paid subscription.

2.3 If you leave a paid plan, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted to fit the Free plan's limits: keywords you already track keep updating, and opportunities past the limit are locked, not removed, until you move to a paid plan again.

3. Paid subscriptions

3.1 Paid subscriptions are available on monthly billing terms, as described on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.

3.2 Your subscription starts on the date your first payment is successfully processed. You will be charged in advance for each billing period.

3.3 Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, for a period of the same length, until you cancel it. You authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method for each renewal.

3.4 If you move to a larger plan, the change takes effect immediately and we charge you straight away for the difference, adjusted (prorated) for the rest of your current billing period.

3.5 If you move to a smaller plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep your current plan until then.

4. Prices and taxes

4.1 All prices shown on our pricing page are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable sales taxes.

4.2 Salvigo Limited is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on Sense Console subscriptions. If we become VAT registered, or become required to collect any other sales tax, it will be added to your charges at the applicable rate. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before this takes effect.

4.3 You are responsible for any taxes, duties or charges that apply to your purchase under the laws of your own country, other than taxes on our income.

4.4 We may change our prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you. The new price will apply from your next renewal date. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that date.

5. Payment processing and invoices

5.1 All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service as they apply to payment processing.

5.2 Invoices and receipts are issued by Stripe on our behalf and sent to the email address on your account.

6. Failed payments, suspension and cancellation for non-payment

6.1 If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry it in line with its standard retry schedule. We may also contact you to ask you to update your payment details.

6.2 If payment has not been received, we may cancel your subscription 35 days after the due date.

6.3 When a subscription ends for any reason, your account moves to the Free plan and your data is kept, as described in section 2.3. Like any account, it is then covered by the inactivity rule in section 14.

7. Cancellation

7.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page, which takes you to Stripe's customer portal, or by emailing support@sense-console.ai.

7.2 Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to your paid plan until then, and you will not be charged again.

7.3 If you delete your account, your subscription is cancelled immediately and you will not be refunded for any part of the current billing period.

8. Refunds

8.1 Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, unless stated otherwise in these terms.

8.2 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

9. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and authorised to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of your business.

10. Your Google data

You may only connect Search Console properties you are authorised to access. The connection is read-only. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You keep all rights to your data, and you can disconnect Google or delete your account at any time from the Account page.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data;
• reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
• use the service to break the law or Google's terms.

12. Recommendations are guidance

Sense Console provides recommendations based on your Search Console data. They are guidance, not guarantees. Search rankings depend on many factors outside our control, and you decide whether and how to act on any recommendation.

13. Our service

We own the service, including its software and design. Your feedback helps us improve it, and you agree we may use it without obligation to you. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors.

14. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. If nobody signs in to an account for 6 months, we email the account owner a notice and delete the account 30 days later unless someone signs in before then, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never delete an account with an active paid subscription for inactivity.

15. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and let you know. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. Where this section conflicts with sections 4.2 or 4.4, those sections prevail.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
